The Wall, the groups sophomore album has sold more than 9 million copies
worldwide.
Released on July 27, 1999, The Writing's On The Wall was certified 7x platinum by the RIAA as of February 26, 2001. It also debuted at #6 on the Billboard 200 Album chart. Nine months after its release, the album was #5 on the chart, having just experienced its best sales week ever. More than a year after the albums release, The Writing's On The Wall was still in the top 20 (#11) selling upwards of 70,000 units per week. In the first year of it's release, The Writing's On The Wall spent 47 out of 52 weeks in the top forty or better of the Billboard 200 Album chart.
