The History

      The model rocket was designed by Orville Carlisle in 1954 because people had the idea of space and wanted their own rocket.  People tried to make their own rockets but had problems.  People got hurt or killed from these problems.  Orville's designs solved these issues.  It was Mr. Stine (Ranger Safety Instructor) who approved the designs and made a safety code for the model rocket.

These are pictures of the early model rockets.  These are all the same skill level.  They are basically the same rockets but with a different designs.  These rockets all use low powered engines and require assembly.
