Sticks

There is no awesome sticks and awful sticks. Really you are looking for sticks that are not wood, but whatever feels good for you and works is what you need. I have a wooden stick and it works great for me, but somebody else might like a graphite stick. Whatever feels best and helps you is the stick for you.

 Helmets

Helmets protect your head from getting concussions when you fall or from when you get hit with a stick. In every league except for the minors and the pros you are required to wear a face mask. This is so you don't got hit in the face with a puck or a stick. I know that facemasks are very helpful. when I went to my last tournament a girl hit me with her stick in the face. Thankfully I had my facemask so I was fine.
