Some of the top quarter backs in the AFC are Rich Gannon, Payton Manning, and

 Brian Griese. Some of the best quarter backs in the NFC are Jeff Garcia, Brett 

Favre, and Kurt Warner. My first pick would be a quarter back, so without a  

doubt I would go wit the thirteen year veteran Rich Gannon.

 

 

The reason I would go with Rich Gannon is because he hardley ever throughs interceptions andnow he has Jerry Rice, Tim Brown, and a pretty good recieving fullback Jon Ritchie.

 

 

I know that you don't get the first pick all that often so, my next pick would be a quarterback named Peyton Manning.  Manning doesn't need any great reciever to get the job done for him, he does an excelent job with just about any reciever that can catch a ball  because Manning will get the ball there just about every time.

 

Brian Griese is truly showng off the skills from his father Bob Griese. Although he might not lead his team to the undefeated season like his father, but there are a few injuries that are hurting his team and you know as well as I do, football is a team sport. Some key players of the Denver offense in the past were Ed McAffre, Rod Smith, Shannon Sharpe, and Terrell Davis. Ever since Davis got hurt the team has been going down hill from there. Ed McAffre broke his leg on the season opener, Shannon Sharpe got traded to the Baltimore Ravens and Rod Smith has been pretty good to the Broncos but his ankles have been bothering him lately. Terrell Davis has showed quite a few times this year and is looking better than he ever did. That is why I would go with Griese.

 

The NFC has been, and still is known for their quarterbacks like Troy Aikman, Steve Young, Joe Montana and Brett Favre. Brett Favre has lead them to two Super Bowls and they were consecutive. They fist played against the Patriots and beat them. Then they lost to the Broncos. Brett Favre is gwtting better with time like wine. He has been in the top three quarterbacks in the NFC for a while and I expect him to continue the race to first in the NFL. A help to his great aclomplishments is the great Antonio Freeman. Antonio Freeman has been helping Favre out by making lots of amazing catches. Favre will be a reliable pick. 

 

Jeff Garcia, is said to be the next Steve Young. Jeff Gacia had one of the best teachers ever, so I would hope he would be atleast half-descent, but Garcia has been a huge explosion to the 49ers offense especially with Terrel Owens and has adjusted after the loss of Jerry Rice. I think that he will be a top pick.  

 

Kurt Warner, at first he was just a back up for Trent Green, then Green got hurt and Warner got his chance to shine. I wouldn't be surprised if he is gone after the first pick.
