| The history of gymnastics travels back to 2000 years ago. One of gymnastic's orgins was from Sydney, Greece in the 1700's. The greek performed gymnastics at the Olympiad. People such as Homer, Plato and Aristotle believed gymnastics was cultural, musical and artistic. Although it orginated from Greece, other places such as China, Persia, and India took part in gymnastics. In the 19th century it led to the start of modern gymnastics. |
