To do an elbow stand you must balance on your elbows in several different positions. A chin stand is when you balance on your chin with your legs above your head. Both tricks take extreme balance and practice. Two examples are two to the left (chin stand top, elbow stand on the bottom). Acrobatics works more on  flexibility than gymnastics. 

 

                           

Gymnastics is a exciting but dangerous sport. Gymnastics involves concentration and muscles. A few moves performed by gymnasts are back handsprings, round-offs, and back tucks. To perform a back-handspring you must start standing, flip your body  over your head into a handstand position and land on your feet. To do a round-off you start out like a cartwheel, but snap your feet over together creating spring, landing on both feet.

 

This is the correct way to land all tumbling tricks.
