People that make movies, (movie producers) usually add in things that aren't real just to make it more interesting.  For example, in "The Mummy", there is a book of the dead.  They made it look convincingly real by making it silver in an "Ancient Style", but anyway, it didn't wasn't real.  There is something that is known as the Book of the Dead though, (A.K.A. Coffin Texts).  These Coffin Texts are located in almost all of the royals tombs, or at least bits and pieces of the scripts.

      All of the Coffin texts are inscribed on Papyrus paper.  Which is made by crushing the Papyrus into pulp and then forming it into a sheet of paper which is really more like parchment, which is a rough course paper.

      Also, all of the royal families were buried with tons of treasures.  Even the nobles were buried with a good bit of gold.  archeologists can now prove that because of the discovery of the famous King Tut's tomb.
