Stone Temple
Have fun with this one. It is the most difficult and requires the most work before you can get to the temple. It may seem like a lot of stuff to do, but is not so hard.

The first thing you will have to do is to get to the canyon. To get there, use your horse to jump over the obstacles. Before you get to the cemetery, you should get the stone mask. Look with the Lens of Truth for a circle of stones around a soldier. Talk to him and he will give you the mask. Another mask that you will need is the captain’s hat. To get it, you will have to race the captain for it. When racing him, use arrows to slow him down as you battle other monsters. You will have to kill the monsters or else the wall of fire will not go away. Use the hookshot when you get to the edge. Open the chest and claim your prize. The mask will allow you to complete another part of events including another mask and a new song. |
| Ikana Graveyard | |
Talk to the skull children with your new mask and they will let you into a grave, which is different each night. On the first night, jump into the grave and defeat all 9 of the Keeses. It is not that hard because by now, you must be very good at killing guys. A chest of rupees will appear. Then light all the torches to open a new door. Enter the new room and you will have to defeat an iron knuckle. If you do, you will learn the song of storms. Wait for the next night and again enter. This time, you will have to use the lens to see a path to a hidden door. You will also see the spiders guarding that path. First kill them and then get to the door. On the third night, have the children dig another grave and also slow time. Find Dampe and talk to him. You will need him to dig for you. This will take a while because you must check every patch of sand and also he is very slow. You must also be careful of wallmasters. To dig on pillars, let Dampe get on a pillar and take the ladder to meet him on top. Once he digs in the right spot, a big poe will appear. Quickly kill it and you can get another bottle.
The man on the cliff will only help you if you have obtained the garo mask. (Race the brothers at the ranch for it) Show it to him and he will bring a tree. Shoot it with the hookshot to get up there. Go to the canyon. You will notice that mummies are walking around. They will attack you if you get too close. They are out because the music box house is not running. To get it to work, go into Springwater Cave. Sharp the ghost haunts the cave and will play a song that will hurt you. Play the song of storms to stop the curse. The nex5t thing you will have to do is to get into the music house. Set a bomb outside the house and wait for the girl to exit and then sneak in. You will see a mummy guy. Play the song of healing to get another mask. You will have to do this before the girl comes in and kicks you out. The Gibdo mask will make the undead not hurt you when you wear it.

The next thing that you need is the mirror shield. With the mirror shield, you can reflect light which will come in very handy in the ancient temple of ikana and also in Stone Tower Temple. To do the well you will need; blue potion, 2 fish, spring water, 3 bugs, 5 magic beans, 10 deku nuts, hot spring water, 10 bombs, a big poe, and some milk. You will have to give one of these items to mummies. Once they have what they want, they will stop guarding a blocked path. Once all of them are happy, you can get the mirror shield. |
| Beneath the Well | |
Now that you have the mirror shield, you are ready for the castle.
| The next place you will have to visit is the Ancient Castle of Ikana. You will need the mirror shield for this part and a power keg. Look for a small hole near a sign that tells you that you will not be able to enter. There, you will see a crystal switch and a block with a sun face. Hit the switch and some sunlight should appear. Use the mirror shield to reflect light into the block’s face. The block will disappear and you will be able to pass. The next thing that you will have to do is to melt the ice covering the switch in the next room. | ![]() |

Ancient Castle of Ikana |

There will be some bad guys but they will not hurt you if you wear the captain’s hat. They will dance instead. If you want you can kill them. Once you hit the switch, a door should open leading you to room 3. In that room, the tiles are very hot and can not be touched. First you will have to raise the floor by spinning into the switch as deku shrub. The floor should rise giving you time to run and dive4 into a flower underneath it. Be quick, it will fall. Raise the floor again by springing out of the flower and hit the floor. Dive back in and fly to the pillar. As Link, hit the switch. The exit door will open. Hit the switch again (the one that raises the floor) and run to the exit. The first thing to do here is to destroy all of the hanging mines. As the deku shrub, dive into the flower and fly to the switch. Hit the switch as Link. You will see nothing around you to jump to. Use the Lens of Truth to see hidden platforms. Make your way to the other side of the room watching out for the spider hanging above the ledge. Go through the exit door. In the hallway, run past the skull or you can kill it. Kill it by grounding it with the shield and defeating it with the sword. Climb the stairs to the top and go through the door. Get up onto the ledge and as deku shrub, dive into the flower and fly to the switch. Hit it to move the block. Wearing the captain’ hat, enter room 2 and hit the eye switch with the fire arrow. In the next room you will have to battle a wallmaster. In will split into 3 smaller hands and will grow large again if you don’t kill it fast enough. In room 8, you will have to face another Wizrobe. He will fight the same way that he did in Snowhead temple. This time he will shoot fire so block it with your shield. Wear the captain’s hat and return to the dancing zombies. Take the stairs leading to room 10. Plant a power keg in the cracked and indented part of the floor. Jump into the hole you have made. In that room, are the dancing zombies so make sure that you wear the captain’s hat. There use the mirror shield to reflect the light into the block. In the hallway are pots. Get plenty of items for you next battle. You may want to have plenty of fairies. The first thing to do in your battle is to burn the curtains blocking the sunlight. To kill the guards, hit them with the sword until they fall, the hit them with sunlight. You will next have to battle the king. Use the same skill with a few arrows to kill him. Unlike the others, he will cut off his head and chase you around with it. If you beat him, he will teach you the Elegy if Emptiness. This song will allow you to make a double of yourself. You can make a double for each of you 3 masks. Now that you have this song, you are ready for Stone Tower.

Make your way into the temple using the hookshot and playing the Elergy of Emptiness on the ocarina. Use the color coded arrows to get to the entrance to the temple. The yellow arrows represent the spots where you must walk and the the blue arrows are places where you must travel using the hookshot. |
| Stone Tower | |
Welcome to Stone Tower. You will most likely die multiple times here! Or, you will get lost and wander throughout the temple. No you won't. I have provided you with a map and some information and some of the ways to kill the enemies that hold the major items you will fight for.

First you will have to get to the other side. Clone yourself on the switches to move the blocks. You cam only make one clone for each mask and the deku shrub is too light to weigh down a switch. Look for target for your hookshot to fire at. In most cases, you will have no trouble using the hookshot, but in some spots, you will have to climb on pillars to reach. Once you get to the top, there is a certain order in which you must press the switches. First press the one at the right, then the one at the left and finally, the one at the top. Jump across the bridge and enter the temple. |
| Stone Temple | |
When you first enter the temple, there are dragonflies and a yellow switch. Kill the dragonflies and hit the switch. The switch is an eye and when you hit it, a chest will appear. Enter room 2 at your left. In the next room, you will have to cover all of the switches. Use the Elegy of Emptiness to cover some of them and use crates to get the rest. The crates are hidden behind a cracked wall accessible if you have bombs. A door should open if you do it correctly. Go through the door you opened and you will end up in the courtyard. There, bomb the square with no plants on it. Jump into the hole and shine light into the block. Kill the statues to get a small key. Use the key to get into room 4 in the courtyard. As Zora, dive into the water and let the hand grab you and throw you onto the other ledge. Open the chest for a small key. Dive back into the water and now kill the hand. Go into the passage that it was guarding. While you are still underwater, destroy all of the mines and press the switch. An upside-down chest will appear. Get out of the water. You will not be able to get the chest yet. Shoot the frozen eye with the fire to get another upside-down chest. Reflect the sunlight into the mirror standing in the middle of the bridge thing. Go in front of the mirror at an angle to reflect the light into the block. Get the compass and then enter room 6. Punch the column as goron to get a spot of sunlight. Use the same technique to pass the light to each mirror to get rid of the blocks. Go into the entrance to your right. There, as deku shrub, dive into the flower and fly to the end of the room at the very far end. Use the gusts of wind to lift you higher so you can reach you destination. The next thing that you need is the light arrow. To get it, you will have to fight the Garo Master. His swords are on fire. Shoot him with the ice arrow to freeze him and then go attack him. Use the shield to block his attacks. When you kill him, claim your prize. Get onto the walkway with a hiploop. It has a mask on, so shoot it with the hookshot and then with arrows. The next battle is against eyegore. Hit him in the eye with light arrows when his eye turns yellow. Once you run out of magic, let him come close to you and when he is going to attack, shoot him in the eye with arrows or with the hookshot. Exit the temple.
| The next thing that you will have to do is to turn the temple upside-down. Shoot the red jewel at the entrance with the light arrow. Renter the temple and you will see that it looks a lot different. Open the chest in front of you and melt the block with light arrow and enter the door at the right. In this room, there is an air current going upwards. As Deku Shrub, fly to the middle bridge. Go to the switch and hit it. A chest will appear on hiploop’s bridge. It will have a key in it. Go to room 12. There are pits of lava too deep to cross. Shoot the jewel and walk on the ceiling to the other side and shoot it again. | ![]() |

Stone Temple Upside-down |
|
Exit that room. The next room is a big puzzle. If you look up, you will see where the blocks will have to go. Push the blocks onto the raised parts of the floor. Then, flip the building and repeat until the puzzle is done. You will have to flip the room multiple times in order to get the bock to its designated. The exit will open once the block is in place. In room 14, you will have to battle the Wizrobe again. Once you beat him, a chest will appear on the ledge. Use your hookshot to reach it. Exit the room through the upper door. Use the flowers to fly to the other side. Shoot light arrows at the Armos statues and they will turn upside-down. Run under them and make them hit the ground and explode. To get the chest in that room, make a copy of yourself on the switch and go grab it. Go into room 16 from the flower room. Blow up the mines and fly to the platform leading to room 11. Go past the skulls and stock up on supplies. When you are ready, go through the door and fight for the boss key. The vampire will be covered in bats, so unleash the light arrow and then hit him with the sword. Right after you attack him, raise the shield and block his blows. Repeat this process until he has fallen and you have the key. Kill the blue bubbles for some health. Go to room 16 and then to room 10. As Zora, jump to the platform and hit the switch. War the stone mask so you won’t get attacked. Use you hookshot and fly up to the catwalk in room 16. Kill eyegore the same way you did before for the Giant’s mask. Go to room 18. When you enter, you will see a spiked log rolling around. Use the hookshot on the chest on the ceiling to jump over it. Drop off of it and refill your health. The first row of pots will attack you.
Boss
The bosses here are two insects known as Twinmold. They are a lot bigger than you are. When you fight them, wear the Giant’s mask to increase your size. Make sure that you have plenty of magic because that mask requires it. To kill the bosses, hit them with the sword on their neck or tail. When you kill them, return to clocktown and wait for the carnival.
Final Battle- Majora
To get to Majora, play Oath to Order on the ocarina. Make sure that you stand in the same place that you did at the fist encounter. The giants will hold up the moon while you fight Majora. If you want, you can complete the moon dungeons. Talk to the kid wearing the mask to battle it. The mask will separate from the kid. First shoot the mask as it flies around with Zora fins. Soon the remains you brought with you will attack. Shoot them with arrows and reflect the flames Majora fires at you back at him. The mask will transform to an incarnation. It will be light on its feet, so wait or it to land trip it and attack it with the sword. The net stage is its wrath. It will have whips, so don’t go close. Fire arrows at it and then, if you run out, use Zora fins. It will die and the moon will be no more.
Congratulations, you have beaten the game!!!!!! Go brag to all of your friends!!!
Also if you want, you can beat the moon dungeons and if you have all of the masks, you can earn the best mask of all, the fierce deity mask. You can only use this mask in a boss battle, but you can kick butt with it. This is the easiest way to kill Majora. When you wear it, you turn into a warrior and can shoot beams from your cool looking sword. Give away all of you masks to the children guarding the entrances and exits. You will get them all back when you restart time.
If you have any trouble understanding this walkthrough, you can buy the guide for it or you can look for another. If you have not yet, try Ocarina of Time or try the games for gameboy. I might come out with a walkthrough for Oracle of Seasons and maybe ages.
