THe controversy-laced gangsta rapper "2Pac" was tje son of two black panther members, his mother was actually pregnant with her son while being held in a New York prison. As a teenager He studied at the Baltimore School Of Arts, before he moved to Marin City, California with his family and began hustling on the streets. His first appearane on the hip-hop scene came with a brief spell as a part of the Digital Underground, but it was his 1991 debut 2pacaylse Not that he announced himself as one of Rap's newest talents, while gaining cencure from various quarters for the albums explivit lyrical content.

He gained his forst crossover success in July 1993 with " I Get Around". The platinum selling album with housed it, Stricktly 4 My N.*.*.*.*.*...offered a rare degree of insight, with glints of wisdom like "Last Wordz"- "United we stand, divided we fall, they can shoot one...,but they cant shoot us all". To further his views ha ran the Underground Railroad network for trouble teenagers in his native Oakland, California.
Tupac was not only a rapper but he was an actor too after studying at the Baltimore School Of Arts as a teenager. The movies he was in were :Volume 1, which is a thug life project Rated R and was morbid and Violent.: Then he had a memorable pertake in the movie Juice. Then along side with Janet Jackson in Poetic Justic. and then he was in the movie about basketball Above The Rim.
Tupac was sentenced for four years for various things and only served eight months of it. While in jail he studied in depth the teachings of the political philosopher Machaivelli. Tupac said he learned a lot from reading his books, particularly "The Prince" and "The Art Of War".
After his release from prison Tupac began using the name Makaveli to represent his new way of thinking.
Tupac was shot after leaving a Mike Tyson boxing match Tupac was gunned down in his Las Vegas and "dided" five days later. Many accusations were given including the theory that The Notorious B.I.G had arranged the shooting because Tupac had been bragging about how he slept with BIG's wife Faith Evens. Tupac and BIG were BIG rivals. Even after Pac dded the East Coast Vs. West Coast rivalry continued which lead to B.I.G's death six months later for the same circimstances.
