Sergei Fedorov is one of the best two-way forwards in the NHL. He scores goals on offense and prevents them on defense. He had so much natural talent that the Detroit Redwings decided to draft him with their fourth pick in the 1989 NHL entry draft. Before Sergei came to the U.S. he played under coach Victor Tikhonov for the Moscow Central Red Army team. |
| In 1993-94 Sergei won awards such as Hart Trophy for being the most valuable player of the NHL and the Selke trophy for the leagues best defensive forward. Those who know him say that they remind him of Brian Trottier. Brian Trottier is a soon to be hall of famer mostly because of his two way playing. |

Sergei is a player with alot of heart and he shows it every night on the ice. He will be a hall of famer some day if he keeps playing the way he is right now. His team this year looks like it could go all the way. |
| Sergei Fedorov usually isn't in the leader board for points but he does the little things to help his team win the game and that is what really counts. He is not out there to make individual accomplishments he goes out there to win championships. |
