| Pavel Bure plays for the Florida Panthers. Bure is going to be a great player in the NHL because of two things. One of them is his speed. The other is his scoring touch. He doesn't pass alot but he makes up for it in how many goals he scores. He usually scores around 45 goals a season and. he was drafted 113th overall in the 1989 entry draft. That is surprising to me because he is one of the best players in the league today .The reason for that is because he lacks size. Everyone thought he was too small to play hockey but he proved to just about evryone that is not true. He has a deadly slapshot wristshot and when he winds up you better look out. |

Another thing Bure can do is get people excited. If he makes a great play or scores a great goal people get lifted right out of their seat. He is very exciting to watch because you never know what he is going to do next. But the Florida Panthers can't rely on Pavel Bure alone to get them to the playoffs. They need some other players that can put the puck in the net. Year after year they dont make the playoffs and they dont do anything about it. Last year he led the league in goals scored and was the first two time winner of the Maurice Richard Trophy. He also set a record for scoring 29.5% of the teams goals. |
