Jaromir Jagr is one of the best players in the league right now. It's ashame he couldn't stay with the Penguins for the remainder of his career. He has a great shot and great skating ability. The only player to have more points than Jagr during the ninety's was The Great One, Wayne Gretzky, and he only had 16 more points than him.

The only reason he was drafted 5th was because teams didnt think they could easily get him to leave his home in the Czech Republic. Little did they know that Jagr would be a future Hall of Fame player. Jagr was a key ingreidient in the Penguins winning the Stanley Cup that year. He had 27 gaols and he and Mario Lemieux were like the one-two punch of the penguins. |
| When he was drafted he fit right into the penguins high octane attack led by Super star Mario. Jagr has seen the great players come and go throughout his career (Mario Lemieux, Joe Mullen, Ron Francis,Jagr's career started when the Penguins drafted him 5th overall in the 1990 draft. 30 assists in 80 games as a rookie. Larry Murphy, Paul Coffey) but he remained the same. |

He always led this team night in and night out, he always tried his hardest.he left the Penguins. I think after last year most Penguin fans have forgot about that. But do you remember when Mario Lemieux. Who do you think it was that led this team into the playoffs every single year. |
| For three and a half years he led this team to all winning seasons and he had noone on his team that could help him lead this team and win the big games. But he is gone now and will be sadly missed by the city of Pittsburgh. |
