Barry's Life

Barry Bonds was born in Riverside, California. He went to college at Arizona State University. His family members are Bobby Bonds his dad, played for the San Francisco Giants. His godfather is Willie Mays. He's in the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York. He originally got drafted into the major leagues by the Pittsburgh Pirates. He received the Rookie of the Year Award & led all rookies in homeruns(16),runs batted in(48),Stolen bases(36),walks(65). He has received rewards for Gold Gloves (1993,1995),Most Valuable Player (1990,1992,1993,& 2001). He set a new record for most MVP's in a career with 4 MVP's. He recently broke Mark McGwire's record for most homeruns in a season set in 1998 with 70 homeruns. He hit 73 homeruns in 2001.
