Guns

Pumps

-Pumps are lightweight guns that need to be pumped after every shot.  They are usually lightweight, accurate, and very inexpensive.

Talon

The Talon is the  most basic of and most inexpensive all paintball guns.  It is lightweight and uses a 12 gram disposable CO2 canister.  It usually goes for around $30.

Tippmann SL 68 II
The SL-68 II is a 2.9 lb, .68 caliber pump gun with 150 foot range and an 8.5" barrel.  It is one of the more expensive pumps at $195.

Sniper III
The Sniper III is a high velocity, extremely accurate pump with an autococker and adjustable velocity.

Semi-Automatics

-Semi-automatics are guns that shoot one round every time the trigger is pulled, and are usually fairly heavy because they require larger CO2 tanks. Semis can be feathered, which is a special way of shooting with which some people can shoot at up to 10 shots per second, but it makes it harder to aim.

Griffin

The Griffin is an aircraft quality aluminum gun with a ten inch micro polished barrel, ultra light trigger pull, and an adjustable velocity of 160 FPS (feet per second) to 300 FPS.

Tippmann Model 98 Custom

The Tippmann Model 98 Custom is an accurate gun with an 8.5 inch barrel which can shoot up to 150 feet.  It gets more than 500 shots per 9 oz CO2 cylinder and can shoot at up to 11 RPS (rounds per second), but it is extremely difficult.  It costs about $200.  It is very easily upgradeable.

Viper M1 Military

The Viper M1 Military includes an integrated expansion chamber and raised, grooved sight rail and a 10 inch barrel. It's tool free disassembly makes maintenance easy.

Spider Shutter

The Spider Shutter comes with a crossfeed to player's left, mini expansion chamber, bottomline ASA, built in regulator with gauge, velocity adjuster, and double trigger finger.

Nasty Typhoon

This is one of the most unique guns out there.  It is the only double barrel paintball gun I have ever seen.  It shoots two shots for every trigger pull.  The only problem is it is not legal in most tournaments, and it costs about $800.

Full Automatic and Multi-Modes

-Full automatics are the fastest guns you can buy, and usually the most expensive.  They also burn the most ammunition, which is why most autos can be set to semi.  They are banned in many tournaments and paintball arenas.  Multi-mode guns usually have some sort of LCD screen which is used to choose your mode of firing.  The most common modes are semi-automatic, bursts (shoots a certain amount of rounds every time the trigger is pulled), and full automatic.

ZXS-600E

The ZXS is a lightweight gun with a 10" barrel.  It shoots up to 11 RPS when set to automatic, but can be switched to semi automatic

Angel LCD

The Angel is the probably most well known multi-mode gun with full auto.  It has an electronic LCD screen which you can choose your mode of shooting with, and which also controls the rate of fire to prevent from clogging the barrel.  It has three modes: semi-automatic, 3 round burst, and full auto with an adjustable rate of fire up to 14 shots per second.
