If you want to do a French braid, like the one that is shown here then just follow the steps below, but this braid will work best on medium to long hair that is straight or wavy. |

First you divide your hair into sections as shown on the left. |

Next you will start to braid at the top of your head, but make sure you are putting the same amount of tension on both sides of the braid otherwise you will get a bumpy look. |

When you are finished braiding you will need a elastic band to secure the braid so it will not fall out. |

This is a very easy to do wrapped pony tail, but it will work best with medium to long hair that is straight, wavy, or curly. What you will need is hair clips, an elastic band and some hair wax (optional). |

The first step is just to make a pony tail at the nape of your neck. |

The next step is to take a small section of hair from each side of the ponytail, then secure them with hair clips. |

If you want your hair to have a slightly curly look like this then just follow the three easy steps below. |

First wind a pipe cleaner around a small section of damp hair- the top bit nearest your scalp. Twist the hair, then wind it around the pipe cleaner. Then just bend the pipe cleaner back to itself to secure the twist. |

Once you have twisted all of the pieces of your hair ( you should basically the same number of twists on each side), spritz your hair with hairspray then leave it dry for 40 minutes. |

After 40 minutes release your hair, then run your fingers through it to loosen your new curls. Then if you want you can define this look with some curling balm. |
