Program Design
This program is designed to help the student who has any difficulties in a regular school environment.
- This program will enable students to receive credits and grades for core courses: English, Science, Mathematics, History, Vocational Prep and Transitional Planning.
- Students have the advantage of working during the day, attending the regular day program on a limited basis or attending a vocational program.
- The student population of the alternative education program is limited to a maximum of 50 students. This small number ensures an excellent student/teacher ratio, which maintains a high quality of education.
- Transportation will be provided all students attending the program.

Admissions
Students are selected to participate in the alternative education program based upon the following criteria: poor attendance; behavior and mental health issues; substance abuse; inability to function in the regular education setting; administrative discretion. Each student will complete an application to the program. Permanent records are reviewed to determine what credits are needed for completion of the program. Students must possess a sincere desire to complete the program and acquire their diploma. Student attendance is mandatory in order to fulfill academic obligations.
