ATTENTION 9TH GRADE MUSIC STUDENTS: Medical forms for the Hershey trip should be turned into your director this week.
DANCE TEAM Any student interested in the formation of a High School Dance Team should report to the wrestling room after school on Monday, May 12th from 3:00 – 5:30 PM. Wear comfortable clothing and either dance shoes or tennis shoes.
ATTENTION STUDENTS INTEREST IN JOINING PACS NEXT SCHOOL YEAR Applications for membership in PACS for next school year are available in all Building Offices. After completion, the application should be turned in to Mrs. Murphy in the Building 4 Office.
TELERAMA, Bethel Park High School’s annual talent show, will be to night, Friday, & Saturday, May 9, & 10 at 7:30 p.m. The show’s performances vary each night and display the vocal, musical, and dance talent of Bethel Park High School students. The admission price is $5.00 and tickets can be purchased in the Activities Office in building #4 at the high school or at the door. Students who purchase tickets can retain their ticket stubs to receive free admission to a second night’s performance.
ATTENTION SENIOR PACS MEMBERS The 2008 Application for PACS annual scholarship award is available in the Building 4 office. Deadline for return of application is May 12th. There will be two winners.
YEAR BOOK - Yearbooks will be distributed at the YIKES party on Wed, May 14 from 2:30 to 4 in the cafeteria - seniors enter for free, underclassmen pay $3 - if you do not get your book at the YIKES party you will have to wait until May 21- there are still books left - order yours now.
FROM THE COUNSELING OFFICE:
Once again, the Bethel Park Federation of Teacher’s Union is offering three $1000.00(one time only) scholarships which includes the Linda Jones Scholarship. Applications are available in the Guidance Office. If you are a graduating senior, who will be majoring in education and are planning a rewarding career in the field of education, YOU should apply. All applications are due back in the records office by May 28, 2008.
A Scholarship is available for any senior who completed the LEAP program and will attend college for a law enforcement related field. See Mrs. Romito in the Counseling Office for an application.
