| FENCING We Are The Champions!
The BPHS Fencing Team won the Pittsburgh Scholastic Fencing Conference Team
Foil Championships AND its third consecutive Conference Team
Epee Championship. Congratulations to Kelsey
Lauritzen and Tyler Stay, who were named to the PSFC Fencing
Honor roll for their outstanding performances in the first round of
conference foil competition. Congratulations to Tyler Stay, who was
named to the PSFC Fencing Honor Roll for his outstanding performance in the
first round of epee competition. Congratulations to Jake Lampenfield
and Tara Helfer, who were named to the PSFC Honor Roll as the top
male and female fencers at the Conference Team Foil Championships.
Congratulations to Brandon Rauch and Ryan Germann, who were
named to the PSFC Honor Roll as the top male fencers at the Conference Team
Epee Championships.
The team also finished the regular season as Undefeated Conference Foil
Champions. Brandon Botzer won the individual conference foil
title and was named to the PSFC All-Conference Team with Devon Verner.
Brandon Rauch was named to the PSFC Honor Roll as the top male fencer
in the third round of foil competitioin. |
