You have chosen to participate in an online program; therefore, you are required to complete all of the following:
You will be permitted to continue your coursework at home. If at any time your rate of completion falls significantly behind or your grade drops below a 62%, you will be asked to return to school for support.
If there is a continued lack of progress or failing grades, you will be required to return to school for the completion of your coursework.
If you fail to complete the course or earn a grade of less than 60%, you will receive zero credit for the course. This course will need to be retaken either in a summer school setting or the next school year.
There are no course extensions permitted.
The Bethel Park Online Academy follows the original Bethel Park School District calendar set at the start of the school year. The cyber school calendar is not extended due to inclimate weather.
The Bethel Park Online Academy Administrator will monitor your progress and is there to assist you, answer any questions you may have, or provide any other support you may need.
You may choose to come back to Bethel Park High School at anytime, although it is recommended that you wait until the end of the 9 weeks grading period.
