In
the event of an injury or illness a
Can-Do
List will be faxed to the student's
physician. In the extreme case where a
student has a "no activity" medical excuse, the
student will then be given an alternate written
assignment.

Throughout our academic year, our goal is to
discuss and learn about the following topics in
order to establish and maintain a life-long,
healthy lifestyle.
General topics include:

Being a wise health consumer

Foods for good nutrition

Keeping fit and active

Planning for safety

Preventing violence

Learning about diseases

Legal and illegal drugs

Learning about alcohol and tobacco
6th Grade Health

a 9-week period, our goal will be to discuss and

establish and maintain a life-long, healthy
lifestyle.

to CPR and first aid)
