  • http://www.coughsafe.com/index.html -- This five minute video was designed to encourage people to cough and sneeze according to the infection control guidelines put forth by the Center for Disease Control.  It combines a serious message with some humor!

  • In November 2007, Merck & Co., Inc. reported that their PedvaxHIB (R) vaccine would be unavailable for shipment pending the results of production quality tests.  On December 13, 2007 Merck & Co., Inc. then announced that it had initiated a voluntary recall in the United States for certain lots of PedvxHIB(R), COMVAX (R) and Hepatitis B Vaccine.  Currently, the Centers for Disease Control is working rapidly to gather and assess information that will develop guidance for immunization providers and their patients.  For answers to any questions that you may have, please visit www.cdc.gov/vaccines/recs/recalls/hib-recall-faqs-12-12-07.htm.
