Three BPSD Teachers Study in Ghana

Three Bethel Park School District Teachers: Neil Armstrong Gifted Support Teacher Lisa Machado, Franklin First Grade Teacher Cheryl Wagner and BPHS English Teacher Charles Youngs, spent a month in Ghana, West Africa with a group of nine other Western Pennsylvania teachers as part of a Fulbright Scholars program, sponsored by the University of Pittsburgh.  During their stay in Ghana, the group studied at the University of Ghana and traveled throughout the country to learn more about the culture and politics of this country.  Please click here to read a synopsis of the trip, and scroll down to see photos from their travels.
