DISTRICT
USES QSP POINT OF SALE SYSTEM
All Bethel Park
school cafeterias use the QSP point of sale
system. All cafeterias are now
equipped with a touch screen, and once a student
enters his/her student ID number into the
system, his/her picture appears to ensure no
one but your child is accessing his/her account.
Parents have the opportunity to pre-pay for
their child's meals either by bringing cash or a
check payable to "Bethel Park School District"
to school, or you can pre-pay using a credit
card via the PayForIt.net on-line service.
Parents who opt to pay with a credit card will
be charged 5.75% per transaction. No
service fee will be charged to parents who
pre-pay with cash or check.
Even if you do not use PayForIt to pre-pay for
meals with a credit card, you can still set up a
free account for your child and have on-line
access to view your account balance, see what
your child has purchased and set up email
reminders. To access Pay For It, please
click on the logo below. Please click
here to see
some frequently asked questions about PayForIt.
We encourage you to set up an account to monitor
your child's cafeteria activity. If you
have any questions, please feel free to contact
the BPSD Food Service Department at
412-854-8754.

Receives Grant for Dairy Machine in BPHS and IMS
Cafeterias--Food Service Director
Joe
Consolmagno submitted a successful grant
application to the Mid-Atlantic Dairy
Association to receive a 3-A-Day vending machine
for the Bethel Park High School and Independence
Middle School Cafeterias.
The machines, valued at $4,500 each, will dispense
100% dairy products. Currently the machines
are stocked with 1% white and flavored milk
pints, string cheese and three varieties of
yogurt. This high-tech machine possesses
sensitive controls, so that in the even of a
power outage, the machine will not dispense any
products if the temperature rises to a danger
range for an extended period of time. This
machine will help everyone to meet their goal of
getting three servings of dairy products a day! |
