The Board held a Finance and a Facilities Committee Meeting this evening, to look at information on financing the high school project 20 or 25 years.  Please click on the links below to see the handouts from this meeting.

Following the Finance Committee Meeting, the Board held a Facilities Committee Meeting to decide on a design/location for the new high school building.  The only drawing that changed is the Schematic Design Plan, which was modified for presentation at the July 30 meeting.  The changes reflect keeping Purkey Field where it currently is and relocating the Student Parking Lot.  The current Schematic Design Plan can be accessed by clicking on the link under the July 30, 2008 meeting above.

At this meeting the Board saw revised drawings and cost adjustments for the project.  These are listed below.  The gymnasium photo is from another high school, but would be similar to the one proposed for the new Bethel Park High School.  Additional drawings were shown at this meeting but have been removed from this site to avoid any confusion, because they have changed.

At this meeting the district heard a presentation from the Architects, outlining three options for Bethel Park High School--renovating the existing buildings, building a new high school, or connecting buildings 5, 6 and 7.  Because the schematic drawings have changed since this meeting, we have removed the links to avoid any confusion.
