Bethel Park High School is a four-year, comprehensive high school with an enrollment of 1, 727 students in grades 9-12. Set up much like a college campus, BPHS consists of eight buildings on an 80-acre campuus. And, like a college, courses have been developed to provide a challenging educational experience for students, including 18 Advanced Placement courses, 29 Honors courses and four Foreign Languages.
A new Bethel Park High School is currently under construction across the street from the existing school and will be open in time for the beginning of the 2012-2013 school year. Once the new school is complete and operational, the current campus will be torn down and replaced with parking lots and athletic fields.
